ACT v.6.0 to Outlook 2003 Contact Database Conversion

This project requires conversion of an ACT version 6.0 contact database to a properly operating database which will run in Outlook 2003. The exising ACT database has approximately 4,000 contacts with no custom fields. It has information in many of the standard fields and many of the contacts are linked to groups. Group inclusion should also be included in the conversion.

I require the formatting to remain intact allowing virtually the same functionality in Outlook that each contact had in ACT. Historical information such as notes should also be included.

However, Activities and Sales/Opportunities will not be attached to the contact database.

I have found one software that purports to offer a program that will make the conversion effortlessly called ACT-To-Outlook Professional for ACT! 2000/6.0 [[url removed, login to view]][1]

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

Outlook runs in a hosted Exchange server and the database is currently shared by five people.

Each computer is running Outlook 2003 with a WinXP Operating System.
