I need to get a copy of the data that is exposed by the [url removed, login to view] REST API: [url removed, login to view] I don't have a good way of getting the data into a usable format for myself. You will need to sign up for a free developer API key, take the Category and Product data from the API and put it into a comma-delimited CSV file. I would like both the data and the code for retrieving it (your choice of programming language). Category: Categories are represented in a tree structure, with one or more children sub-categories per category. For a given category, output the following data: Category_ID, Category_Name, Parent category ID, Do this for all categories in the DB (except Category ID=1, which is not linked to the main tree). Product: Use the API to query all products for each category discovered by navigating the tree as above. Dump all data to a comma-delimited CSV file.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Must also deliver comma-delimited (CSV) data as described in Project Description in a CSV standard format that is easily imported into Excel or another data program.
