Configure GPRS-RS232 Interface using SonyEricsson GM29 Modem

For troubleshooting my remote application (data-logger), I need to connect to its RS232 port. The problem is that the data-logger sits on a truck that hardly remains stationary. Therefore I need to connect to the RS232 port 'over-the-air' and access it from my desktop PC over the Internet. To do this, I bought a SonyEricsson GM29 modem that claimed that it could do just that. However, programing teh device using AT Commands and actually configuring it to work has been hard for me. This is where I need help. I attach a diagram of what it is I need. I also attach relevant documentation from SonyEricsson. Ideally you would need access to this modem which I can setup via a serial port server. If you have access to an identical modem (at no additional cost to me), all the better. Because this is a slightly different bid request, please communicate with me until you are extremely clear before you place a bid. ## Deliverables The Modem configured and ready to connect my data logger and my desktop in such a way that I can access the RS232 port as if I were directly connected to my data logger. This connection would be initiated/triggered from my desktop as and when needed.
