The project involves apply an existing Photoshop composition to a Wordpress 2.2.2 theme. Then, through standard WP configuration, plugins, or custom programming the homepage must be customized. All site content must be able to be managed through Wordpress including images. The home page is a custom layout that pulls data from various post categories, some with custom requirements such as a large image displayed with the tite/link to full article per our Photoshop layout. One is a "did you know" section that will pull a random post from the "did you know" category and display a "did you know" graphic, title, partial text, and link to full article. The blog will have multiple authors, and must provide a means of having the authors picture display next to their post titles/partial descriptions on the homepage. Again, content including images must be able to be managed through Wordpress.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s)in ready-to-run condition installed by seller in buyer's environment (fedora core 4, php 5.04, mysql 4.1x)
2) One in-progress code deployment on buyer's environment after the visual theme work is completed but before additional customization to show progress on the project
3)Documentation must be provided on all work done including how Wordpress is configured, how any plugins are configured, and where any code customizations were made. The intent is if we were to replicate functionality for a similar site or upgrade the wordpress version, that we would be aware of how to do this or what code sections might be at risk when upgrading, or how to modify some of the custom code for additional needs. 4) Deliverables are largely based on customizing open-source software that will not be resold, and as such ownership and copywrite of deliverables will be the buyer's only where applicable.
Please see attached scope of work document for further specifications.
## Platform
Must run on fedora core 4, php 5.04, mysql4.1x. Seller must be able to connect to Buyer's server via FTP TLS/SSL Auth Explicit protocol.
