THIS PROJECT IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD.....
We are looking for a scriptwriter who has current knowledge of C# and will be able to work with data supplied in C# format.
This data needs to be shown using a secure, password protected, online application that you will build from a supplied brief. You need knowledge of asp, ASP.net, javascript and flash for the front end display of the application. Because the data is arriving in C# format, the code needs to be written mainly in ASP.net
There will be a vast amount of data arriving all the time and there needs to be no time delay when this new information is displayed. Each login will be viewing differing numbers of data streams and needs to be able to look at each stream in great detail as well as having a general overview.
## Deliverables
We are looking for a scriptwriter who has current knowledge of C# and will be able to work with data supplied in C# format.
This data needs to be shown using a secure, password protected, online application that you will build from a supplied brief. You need knowledge of asp, ASP.net, javascript and flash for the front end display of the application. Due to the data in C# format, the code should mainly be written in ASP.net.
The constant C# data needs to be converted to a series of summarised graphs and other flow diagrams, working in real time with the incoming data. Viewers need to be able to "drill down" into the data to see specific areas in exact detail.
For example, the system may monitor cars passing by a traffic light. The summary tells the viewer that 437 cars passed the traffic light today. The viewer is able to look further into the data to view it by the hour, and to find out how many red cars passed the traffic light and if a specific car passed the traffic light. This is a simplified example, but it gives the rough idea.
There will be only a handful of logins, and each will probably be viewing about a two hundred "traffic lights". Some of the info they want to see might be, how many red cars passed all the traffic lights over a week....
Other features will include an immediate email warning system that sends out emails if certain events occour; a warning flag up system that monitors the incoming data for supply consistency; and a note system that allows viewers to leave notes attached to certain charts at certain points.
Artwork will be supplied and you will be working in constant contact with the application designer, based in the uk.
This project needs to have reached a reasonable testing stage in one month from the start date (not yet agreed) for MiWebsite to test it. Once this preliminary system is up and running, we expect the client to add new areas to it with new streams of data. Which will then need to go through more testing etc... This project is the first online monitoring system of it's kind and as the program that sends the C# data is still being tested and built, we are not sure about the frequency of data arriving or the full scale of the streams of data, yet.?
If you have the required skills to work on this system, please contact us in the usual way for further information.

This project is currently under re-evaluation. We are not sure when it will go ahead. It looks like it may be a few months. I will let you know if and when we decide to go ahead with it. Many thanks for your patience. BR MiWebsite
