Add a page and gallery to Drupal website

We require an new page on our existing website with an image gallery to be installed and populated. The images should be displayed as thumbnails that can be enlarged when you click on them.
There should be a link button from the home page to the gallery.
We would also like the Drupal installation to be updated and checked to make sure everything is working correctly.
