We need to build an app for CMS/blog in Ruby on Rails or PHP. It is like www.wordpress.com. - The app will host 2500 users ( 2500 sites), each of them would be around 50 PV per day. - The sites will pick design from preconfigured cool designs. Very little configuration allowed. Basically, uses can change texts and images. That's all. - 60 templates should be included in the sites. - User interface for editing the site contents must be very very friendly. even your grandma should be able to create the website. - Users can choose their own domain. - Users can upload mp3 (to S3, probably). Users can embed youtube. - Generated pages are mostly static except simple blog area and contact form. - Must be secure. - TDD/BDD is huge plus You can customize wordpress multisite or build your own solution. (RoR preferable.)
