For an art project I am collecting (and downloading) hundreds of webpages. Now I want to build a website, that redirects you automatically to one of this collected pages based on the users local time.
Therefor I renamed the html file of each of the collected webpages with a timestamp in the systematic of [url removed, login to view]
at 11:05:45 the user should be redirected to the file "[url removed, login to view]"
at 09:56:00 the user should be redirected to the file "[url removed, login to view]"
Three tings should be kept in mind.
at 21:30:00 the same file should be shown like 09:30:00 (= [url removed, login to view]). There will be a 12 hour system, not a 24. But maybe there could be an exception, if the file [url removed, login to view] would actually exist. Then it could be preferred to the 0930000 by the script.
There will be not a file for each second. If the system doesn't find a webpage with a timestamp for the actual time, it should choose the closest existing.
The script should also continue after I was forwarded to one of the webpages with a timestamp. When the script finds the next webpage matching the actual time, it should forward me again. And so on …
Please ask me questions. I am not a pro. But I am able to copy in paste.
