We have already installed the latest Apache, Tomcat, and connector. Just need some help putting it together now with Apache serving the static content and tomcat serving the jsps and servlets.
Need guru to develop optimized Tomcat config files and help us get it running. Not just anything that works, but an optimal config that will support:
- 500 users
- One simple virtual host, all in 1web application in "/" in the virtual domain
- Later on (outside this project) other virtual hosts will be added
We think our requirements are extremely simple and will work with Tomcat right out of the box; we have no special requirements. We do need automatic class recompiling as source code changes as we do occasionally reload classes.
The application consists of a large number of .jsp files, a class library, and a few servlets.
The output of this project is a set of Tomcat config files and scripts and/or instructions to get it all working. We expect it would just be a couple hours work for a Tomcat guru, as this is a simple web application.
