Hi there,
I have a web site that was done in Flash CS3 and I need to create the same website in HTML only for people who do not have Flash installed.
1. The HTML pages should look the same as the Flash file, but we will need the pages to have fluid layout so it will scale based on the user resolution.
2. All the pages should use the same metadata as the current index.html.
3. The HTML needs to have the same functionality - there are two forms on the web site that get processed by php script. These forms have to be included and working in HTML version too.
4. There is also a newsletter archive in the Flash version that reads list of available newsletters from external XML file. I would like to see this also included in the HTML if possible.
5. There will be two different Flash versions of the same web site - one for 1024x768 resolution and one for 1280x1024 resolution.
Therefore we will need to include a script, that determines if user has a compatible Flash player installed.
If the user does not have flash -> display the HTML version
If the user has Flash installed, then we need to determine what screen resolution is he using.
- If the screen resolution is lower than 1280x1024 or lower ->load smaller version of flash website.
- If the screen resolution is 1280x1024 or bigger -> load bigger version of the web site.
We are still making minor changes to the Flash site, but you can find a preview of almost finished version at [login to view URL]
Please let me know if you have any questions.
