***$7 DOLLAR BONUS IF DONE IN MSACCESS. I prefer msaccess queries/tables to generate the categories for each id, but a macro in excel works fine.***
I am trying to generate the categories that a product should be assigned to. The macro will look at the categories and the criteria associated with each category. It will then look through the products and their attributes, then lists each id and all the categories it should be assigned to.
I will have 2 sheets of data:
1) Sheet 1 will contain a column with product ids (SKU), and 10 columns with data.
2) Sheet 2 will have column 1 with category ids (categories), adn 10 columns with criteria. **The criteria in these columns determine which products should be listed under what category.**
I need a macro that look at sheet 2, finds all items that match the criteria for the category, and lists product ids along with all categories that they should be mapped to. I have done a sample on sheet 3.
**NOTE: Sheet 3 is created by the macro. Sheet 3 in the sample file is incomplete and only meant to give you an idea of how the macro should function.**
Please let me know if you have any questions
