I am using some web proxy servers, which require authentication - a username and a password.
I need C# or C++ code, which can set the proxy settings in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome.
I use this code to set the proxy server in Windows:
RegistryKey registry = [login to view URL]("Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Internet Settings", true);
[login to view URL]("ProxyEnable", 1);
[login to view URL]("ProxyServer", "SERVER");
InternetSetOption([login to view URL], INTERNET_OPTION_SETTINGS_CHANGED, [login to view URL], 0);
InternetSetOption([login to view URL], INTERNET_OPTION_REFRESH, [login to view URL], 0);
and it is working fine - all the browsers start using the new proxy, but they show a message box, asking me to enter the username and password. I want to avoid this. I want a piece of code, which I can use to store the Proxy credentials (username and password), so that the browsers do not ask me to do this. Please include word "I understood" so I know you read my post and lower bid wins. thanks!
