I manage a couple of servers currently 2- windows 2003 and 1 windows 2008 and often have need to add a web page that we want to execute on a regular basis (every so many minutes or once a day or whatever) . I would like to have a windows service that I can just rename and install on the server and once it is running will run my app based on a config file - or something like that.
I am not a server pro - so am looking for experienced professional that can recommend the best solution. I will need very detailed instructions on implementing solution to server also.
