Bluetooth device scanner

Description - Write a VB.NET class/s based on a Bluetooth component I will supply which keeps track of bluetooth devices which are in range. Detail - I am writing an application which has multiple forms all of which need to be notified of new bluetooth devices appearing in range AND also get a list of all current devices. Proposed solution - A parent class is created which exposes some events (e.g. NewDeviceFound) and some methods (e.g. GetDeviceList) which can be instantiated by any class/form. The parent class will be responsbile for keeping a list of inrange devices AND removing them. So I guess some peiodic scanning will be required of devices already found to ensure they are still there. Lanugauge - VB.NET only. Result must be a usable class, not some code on a form Testing - You must supply an MDI app that can be used to launch multiple forms all containing the listener and showing some signs of monitoring in realtime what new devices are appearing. Bluetooth component - You will NOT be required to write low level bluetooth code. This will be provided by a 3rd party. <[login to view URL]> I will supply the component to the winning bidder. Requirements - Anyone taking this job will need to have good experience of Bluetooth, a couple of bluetooth devices (e.g. a phone). Methods/properties/events - It is not clear the exact number that will be needed. This detail will come out in testing. It is expected that the coder will produce additional code as required to fully meet the requirement. However this work will be reasonablly constrained. Delivery - I would like to see the code as it progresses so that feedback can be given from the early stages to save revision work later. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform XP etc.
