Hi I have created a formula to compress any number by a large percentage. However I do not know any programming language to put it to good use. You will need to create two programs, one to compress any file and one to uncompress any compressed file. You will have to work around the formula/function I have created as I am unable to give it to you. The compressing program will need to do the following: 1) Import a file 2) Convert the file to one long number 3) Cut the long number into reasonable lengths which the computer can handle 4) Insert each smaller number through my formula (Which you will not have so you will be unable to test it) 5) Save each even smaller number which comes out of my formula to a file with the original file details (File Name, File Type, ECT). Also save it with a new kind of file extension. The uncompressing program will need to do the following: 1) Import the compressed file (Only import files which have the compressed file extension) 2) Insert each even smaller number through my formula so a smaller number comes out. 3) Join back together the small numbers to create the original long number. 4) Convert the long numbers back to the file it original was. Here is what my compression foumula/function inputs/outputs compressnumber(uncom, com) Input vairibal = uncom Output vairibal = com Here is what my uncompression foumula/function inputs/outputs uncompressnumber(com, uncom) Input vairibal = com Output vairibal = uncom The programs do not have to be too fancy as they will only be used to prove my foumula works.
