The attached Excel worksheet is created using a SQL query. I need an Excel macro that adds a new column (J) to the existing columns. The number columns are always the same (9). The number of rows will change each time.
Step #
1. - Go to cell J1 and enter "Total", align centered.
2. - Go to cell J2 and create a formula that multiplies column H by column I.
3. - Copy the formula that you just created in cell J2, to J3 through the last row of data. Remember the number of rows changes with each refresh of the data. This macro will need to count the number of rows in the worksheet and use this number to determine how many rows to copy the formula down.
4. - Format the new calculated column as a Number with two decimal places and comma separator.
I have included two Excel worksheets, [login to view URL] and [login to view URL]
