Disc Checking CRC Program (VB6)

Need an application to verify CDs / DVDs using a 32 bit CRC. The application will have three uses; 1) Collect the CRC, number of files, byte count, type of disc (CD / DVD) and volume name of the disc and store that information in a database along with the credentials of the person logged in to the computer if possible (domain\username). A progress bar would be nice as well since the CRC will take time for larger compilations. 2) Recall this information and compare it to an actual disc (either the original or a copy) at a later date to verify the information on the disc is still good or the copy was successful. 3) If possible - A form / function that allows the user to make a copy of the disc using the Nero API SDK and Nero 7. We occasionally have to make two copies of a disc so the ability to burn to multiple drives simultaneously would be very nice. Included is a sample form that shows one way to collect the information and display it in the application. The values in the text boxes are for illustration purposes only. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows: a) Program will auto-populate drive combo control with list of available CD/DVD drives. b) Program will calculate or collect the CRC (32 bit) value, byte count, type of disc (CD / DVD) and volume name of disc and store that information in a database if desired. Please provide the function to add the record into the database and I will change the database connection string, table name, etc. The reference field will be used as the unique ID for the table. c) Ability to recover stored CRC information and compare it to an actual disc (either the original or a copy) at a later date to verify the information on the disc is still good or a copy was successful. Again, coder to provide function to access database and I will change connection string, table name, etc. d) If possible - Form / function that allows the user to make a copy of the disc using the Nero API SDK and Nero 7. Ability to burn to multiple drives simultaneously a definite plus. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2000 (SP4) and Windows XP.
