Access 2000 Work

I have an Access 2000 Database that needs some work performed. Within the database, two tables are involved. They are "Donor" and Donations" and they are linked by a field called "Donor ID". Within the table "Donor" are two fields named "totalnumberofgifts" and "firstgiftdate". I need to have these fields filled from the donations table. Find the total number of gifts given in the donations table using the donorID and place that total in the Donor table field totalnumberofgifts". Find the first gift date in the donations table using the donorID and place that date in the Donor table field "firstgiftdate". Write code needed for the "totalnumberofgifts" and "firstgiftdate" will automatically update. For the firstgiftdate, that will be when a new donor's first gift is recorded in the donations table.
