We are an on-site computer repair service and are currently running a Windows 2003 SBS running exchange and CRM 3.0. We need a developer to set up the CRM to better meet our needs. The project will include modifying and creating the following:
**- Creating a SINGLE form that a user can pull up a customer’s contact info (i.e. change or create a new one if necessary). Create a new incident. And be able to schedule the next available service technician. The technician would then get an update giving him/her the option to accept or reassign.**
**- Creating another SINGLE form that the technician can then update the incident once he/she has visited the location and taken care of the problem. On this form they should be able to make a note to the incident as well as enter the time they spent on the activity. There should also be a section they can indicate all the products they installed or sold to the customer and it would automatically update the total price for the customer (for that incident, including the billable hours).**
Summary: Two forms ??" ONE for creating and scheduling an incident, and ONE for updating and closing an incident. In addition to these forms, the developer will probably need to figure out to automate the processes to flow they way we described. I imagine there will be a section for us to indicate how much we charge an hour (in order to auto calculate the total). If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I will respond quickly. Thank you.
