Text parsing & Conversion Project There are 3 .TXT files that need to be converted to Excel. They were created as a result of print to file request from an ERP system. To that end, I cannot identify a specific delimiter beside obvious spaces between the columns. The files: 1. CSC Vendors [login to view URL] a. Conversion requirement: i. The column “Vendor?? should be ignored. ii. The column “Address?? contains the vendor name and address. Create 1 excel column for the vendor name (1st row), 1 column for vendor address (2nd, 3rd rows), and in addition 2 columns for each of the address lines. 1 column for contact. 1 column for phone (1st row), and 1 column for fax (2nd row). 2. CSC Customers [login to view URL] a. Ignore column 1 “Customer??. The address column is structured similarly to vendor list. 1st row “customer name??, 2nd, 3rd rows are “customer address. Create 2 additional columns for the address (line 1, and line 2). Column for contact, and 2 columns for phone/fax. 3. CSC Inventory Part [login to view URL] a. Use process columns Part Number ??" Quantity (1st) b. When part numbers have spaces, append to the base number. Example: “06D1 RG BRT??  “06D1RGBRT??. c. Create one column from the description column. Pay attention, some time it appears in 2 rows. d. The row below “ not for use with acq?? should be in a separate column. e. U/M column f. Location = Warehouse-1 g. Quantity column. All the above should be available for repeatable process, because upon final conversion the data will change slightly, e.g., new vendors/customers, and quantity. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Microsof Windows XP Excel (office 2003).
