Hi, I am a very skilled and flexible illustrator and can illustrate in many different styles. Some of these are displayed on my portfolio page. I have recently won a Freelancer contest for illustrating a series of children's books set in the Australian outback. My winning entry is still displayed. I won this for 3 reasons: 1 I demonstrated I could achieve a painted style using traditional mediums.( I do not like the smoothness of Photoshop) 2 I showed I could achieve characterisation. So many illustrators can do a cover but fail to carry the look and feel of the characters through the story. 3 I can draw and this means I can place the characters in any situation with any facial expression. The lack of drawing ability in so many Freelancers astounds me. Most of them rely on Photoshop techniques which always ends up electronic looking. I always do detailed pencil drawings for approval before adding the colour. I can copy the style you like but it would be much better to originate your own somewhat similar style - then it becomes unique. If necessary I can send you a sample to show how professional I am. While writing this I have just been notified I have won another illustrating contest - again because of the style I submitted which was using acrylics.
