Design a prototype for a submarine seawater desalination system with necessary equipment and costs.

Who we are: A small company investigating the creation of a pressurized submarine Reverse Osmosis desalination module that will use the ocean's hydrostatic pressure at depth (around 600m) to provide fresh water at lesser energetic and environmental costs. The module will be linked to a surface module anchored to the sea bottom to make it stable, and the fresh water will be pumped to the surface after desalination. What we need: We need to prove the feasibility, low energy consumption, and water quality of such a module by creating a small scale prototype that can be tested at depth. Your job will be to design this prototype, not build it. Ideally, we need an engineer with expertise in Reverse Osmosis processes (for desalination or filtration) who will be able to review our early design (in attached files), improve on it with better technology of his/her knowledge, source equipment required to build it, and provide a cost analysis of the module prototype with sources. The deliverable needs to include the design AND the cost analysis spreadsheet with sources so we can use it in ou manufacturing process. The prototype you come up with needs (in theory of course) to prove its ability to produce very high quality fresh water through a reverse osmosis process using hydrostatic pressure and very little energy. It also needs to maximize the quantity of water produced compared to its size, and have a continuous pumping of fresh water to the surface so it can produce fresh water with limited downtime. It needs to be functional when built, so think about how to provide electricity to the module and how much energy will be needed per cubic meter of fresh water produced. Please use existing technology and equipment (like off-the-shelf Reverse Osmosis membranes, existing deep sea pressurized housings that can be purchased at the likes of Prevco Inc. or Oceanworks), but don't hesitate to point us towards coming-of-age technologies you might know about.
