Hello!
I am very happy to find a feature length script breakdown opportunity on this site, especially one for such a stylized and complex script. I think you will find me to be an excellent analyst for THE BRIGHTEST because I am an independant film producer, I know and own all of the industry standard software for breakdowns and budgets (FDX, Tagger, & Movie Magic), and I'd rather earn money breaking down a script than doing anything else!
I'm currently obtaining a Masters in Leadership in Creative Enterprise at Northwestern University to broaden my knowledge of film finance and management.
Enough about my qualifications... let's get into specifics. There's a few things I'd need to know before analyzing your script:
1) Do you have a ceiling budget? A number for which you cannot go over? Your script has some high production commands and I could budget this movie a few different ways depending on your restraints.
2) I noticed several locations in your script; Istanbul/Turkey, Alaska, and California. Were these locations chosen for creative reasons or have you looked into tax incentive initiatives that you believe to qualify for?
3) Do you plan on this being a union shoot or a non-union shoot? If you want a non-union crew, are you planning on your cast to be SAG? Will you be paying every member of your crew, or are some people working voluntarily?
4) Do you know how many days you will shoot? I've found it's hard to shoot more than 5 pages (if even) in a day.
Best,
Brianna
