You are to weave the story of a failed and twice jailed Australian entrepreneur . suggested title : " Not Really Guilty ".
Designed as a 3 to 4 hour read e-book ,the entrepreneur will feature in most of the chapters of this ( autobiographical) fiction. There will be at least another 15 characters - many with a high profile in the legal and investment profession .You will be provided some details about these characters by the subject but you will need to conduct online research to complete the character picture(s).
The subject will provide extensive material about his life's journey from rags to riches to rags , from the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York to a prison cell in Parramatta Jail . This source material will be provided by face to face interviews over skype with the subject.
To conduct the selection of the successful contractor = author the employer will provide some details about each of the characters ( eg Dennis the barrister, mid 50s, elite school education, north shore resident, with very shiny shoes , suffering short man syndrome ...much despised in the legal profession and in cahoots with ASIC) . You will then compose one of the chapters to be called " Millenium Madness " which will feature a cocktail party held at the subjects palatial residence in 1999 in which some of the below characters feature . This chapter will tell a tale of unbridled conceit and hapless ambition as some characters borrow from investment banks to invest in ridiculoulsy overpriced dot com stocks .There is much braggadocio and some illicit sex . The subject's frailties are revealed also .This chapter ( the contractor trial chapter) - of your own creation- should comprise 5,000 words ..and will be assessed on its readability..and capacity to keep the reader entertained and stimulated to continue the read. You should reveal some of the trials and tribulations and aspirations and strengths of most of the characters whilst capturing that period's descent into investment madness. Those characters will include:
Dennis Strong..the morally bankrupt barrister depicted above ( now in his late fifties)
Don Greer ...the lawyer cum banker whose ascent to power and influence is due to political skill only ( now in his late fifties)
Pattie Downer... the subject’s best friend and confidant who is a small time Eastern suburbs ( Sydney) drug dealer ( now in her early sixties)
Alex Drysdale...raffish ,good looking and well travelled Englishman who marries and discovers he is gay ( now in his early fifties)
Simon Boer ... a steady family man , committed Christian who despairs of the subject’s buccaneering ways whilst admiring him at the same time ( now in his late forties)
Liz ...the subject’s wife of 39 years, a romantic stoic who met the subject at age 16, fell helplessly in love , married at 20 and has had 6 children by him
Larry Adler..the departed 80s entrepreneur who benefits from the subject’s talents but plays a hand in his demise ( deceased 1989)
Lawrie Connell...the 80s disgraced merchant banker who was a client of the subject and an early backer ( deceased 1996)
Mike Rand ...a former cell mate and convicted drug dealer (now in his early sixties)
Murray Rosencrantz...a former Bear Stearns investment banker from New York blessed with rat cunning and a need to prove himself to his Jewish fraternity ( now in his early fifties)
Justice Kim Santow...the departed former Supreme Court judge ( deceased 2008)
Ivan James..the subject’s former banker and fellow director who wrecks his merchant bank with a $2.4billion loss( now in his fifties)
Ross Dempsey...solicitor and spineless ASIC enforcement division agent whose misgivings about ASIC’s treatment of the subject lead to his sacking ( now in his forties)
Trial participants receive $300 plus 1% royalty . Selected contractor receives $300 per chapter plus 2% royalty per chapter .Completed work must be submitted within 6 months of commencement
This sounds utterly fascinating. I'm an expert writer, having completed a novel, multiple ebooks, and plenty of site content. I'm professional, responsive, creative, and can begin immediately. As previously mentioned we are unable to bid only $20 and acceptance of the job will create a large expense for both parties to Freelancer.com. --Justin
Hi there
I'm very interested in your project.
I have lived on Sydney's North Shore my entire life and in addition have a legal background so have a clear understanding of the content your book will revolve around. I have a lot of first hand knowledge and experience in similar areas which will help bring your story to life and keep it convincing, realistic and believable. I will be able to create characters which are very realistic based on this certain demographic and can easily describe the areas/locations that might feature in the book.
I have a double degree in Law and Public Communication from a Sydney university and have had experience working in law as well as advertising, marketing and currently in publishing.
I have had extensive writing experience and profound research skills.
I have a profound grasp on the English language including spelling and rules of grammar. I pay close attention to detail at all times and can guarantee that my work will be free from any grammatical and spelling errors.
I also adhere strictly to deadlines and can guarantee that my work will be completed well within the deadlines you have specified.
Please let me know if you require any further information.
I'm more than happy to take your trial test.
Kind regards
Ashleigh
This looks like an interesting project. My bid is for a novella of around 40,000 words. I have had many short stories published (see my profile for more information) in the past and I am now a full-time freelance writer. Please get in touch if you are interested in working with me. I could also help out in producing a print edition of the book as well if required, or help with the production of the e-book, as I have have experience in publishing as well.
This sounds great, I love the story line. The bid is to match the one as on the job, however I am pretty laid back with milestones and such. I would love to hear more about your project and what you are expecting the final project to be.
I have been writing for over 15 years, and gave up my day job about a year ago to pursue my passion of writing and have been pretty successful.
Look forward to hearing more about the project!
Take care.
Hello there, T
his project sounds excellent! I really enjoy all the unique factors that the characters bring and the potential with them playing off of each other. I believe I am qualified to participate, and this is not just because I have a fitting orientation; but because I can present the terms and technicalities that the piece will require while providing thought-provoking commentary on the human condition through this awesome cast of characters. I look forward to hearing from you, and I wish your project the best of luck!
Thanks for your time,
Georgian Enache
I have actually lived through 80% of this. I have an extensive writing experience. This has Glen Wheatley, Harry M Miller and Beasley in it. We can connect on skype. I can make a worthwhile contribution to this. Good luck with the project

hello rosencrant! You've got a cool project up there! I'm very excited to do the job for you. Let's make a perfect entrepreneural orginal biography. You'll gonna love it!
Hi.
I am a published author - please see personal message for details. Writing a book is not about having a degree or being able to type 50wpm. I am looking for a framework for this novel and you can provide that. Please read my first book to assist your decision making.
Thanks.
Michael.
I find your project both intriguing and inspiring. I am an experienced fiction writer and I've been looking to do something that takes place in that particular era of history. I would love to be a part of your project and I will put everything I have into it. I have also sent you a private message.
I am a published author with extensive knowledge of taking books from initial concept through to bound copy and have had substantial experience ghostwriting for high-profile people for a number of UK-based publishers. Given you have a framework for the book, this sounds like a fun project. I would be extremely interested in taking it further.
