I completed master's degree at London School of Economics and Political Science. I worked on a research project at Society of Young Doctors aiming to collect data and review the literature on medicine, economics and technology in Armenia. This helped me to become more competent in conducting online research and in data extraction. I believe the skills I have acquired through my studies and work experience will be of great in completing the project.
On behalf of the USAID support to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia program I worked at the Standing Committee on Economic affairs of the Republic of Armenia. I conducted different legal research and analysis of draft laws, wrote memos for the MPs, and along with the committee experts organised parliamentary hearings and press releases. I further enriched my research and management skills and became more attentive to details.
Currently I work at the Department of Social Protection of the Ministry of Defence of Armenia. I conduct research on pension and benefits schemes of the armed forces of different countries. I also organise different seminars between the department staff and beneficiaries (disabled servicemen or their family members) on different topics, such as to help them find a job, raise their concerns and problems.
Finally as a person I am responsible, highly motivated and extremely hard-working. I have a “can-do” attitude and am ready to work in a high pressure environment.
