The company looking for a customer service / operations coordinator. Candidate must be bilingual in English and have excellent written communication skills. Duties include receiving delivery orders from customers, entering delivery orders into our system, checking bookings and containers for availability at the port system, following up with customers, scheduling appointments, communicating with customers and fulfilling their individual requirements, answering the phones, assisting with pricing, and helping the dispatcher when needed. Other duties as assigned. This is a very detailed oriented job. Candidate must have great organization skills and be a self-starter. The position at times can be stressful, candidate needs to be able to work under pressure. Experience in ocean freight is desirable, but not mandatory. We'll train a candidate that has no experience if we feel that the candidate has strong communication and customer service skills. Candidate will need to interact with customers who are primarily Freight Forwarders. This position also requires communication with our local [login to view URL] range is from $25.75 - $35.75 per hour depending on experience. Hours are from 8:00 am -- 5:00 pm with 1 hour lunch.
