Carbon nanotubes as an etiological factor of cancer process Multi-walled carbon nanotubes cause the increase in reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen in tumor and in normal cells. Effect of carbon nanotubes on tumor cells was accompanied by a dose-dependent increase of the level of free radicals at the same time the level of reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen was inversely proportional to the exposure time. Effect of ceftriaxone on morphology and redox status of rat intestine Treatment with ceftriaxone induced profound morphological changes in rat small intestine and colon. Morphologic changes were associated with significantly altered redox status. Ceftriaxone triggered inflammatory response that might be the cause for intestinal side-effects.

1. The cancer treatment with carbon nanotubes is a very new (at least for me) and extremely interesting subject. Should I use as refferences all kind of articles about SWNT tests and their effect on rats etc., excreting mecanism or do you have a prefference for particular drug (paclitaxel -which inhibits the mitosis) which can be delivered into cells by using SWNT? 2. New antibiotics are allways needed, because bacteria can become resistent after improper treatment, due to their plasmids. Ceftriaxone, as well as other new antibiotics) is a very interesting subject for a scientific article. I graduated Biochemistry and I have a master degree in Biotechnologies. I was a biology teacher for seven years and a microbiologist in baker's yeast production for five years. I would love to prepare theese articles. It would be a breath of fresh air for me. I am new on Freelancer and I didn't try to take my tests yet (I am preparing for the Engish test now). Best regards, Adina
