Ok I need a program to do help me automate my work. I will give you some background information first. I currently CAPTURE and EDIT large AVI files for producing 1 hour long DVDs. I am producing between 4 to 8 DVDs daily. I am using adobe premiere pro 2.0 (very old package but reliable), I will be migrating to Premier Pro CS5 in the next few months. I know that these very large AVI files (around 7 gb), can be compressed to around 150MB WAV using the export facilities in the adobe program. I would like to compress these captures, compress and send the file to a cloud storage facility such as Dropbox or Mediafire automatically. I understand that the capturing side of this (connecting the firewire to the hardware and opening the screen) will not be automated. I am talking about automating the processes once the tape has been captured. If it is possible I would also like to automatically attach the ADOBE project and the link to the compressed capture on an email. Is there anyone in the programming community that can do this?
## Deliverables
* Grab the AVI capture from my hard drive (several Gb in size).
<!-- -->
* send it back through the same editing program or an auxislary compression program (may be windows movie maker) reduced to about 150Mb.
<!-- -->
* picking up preset compression default in that program or another.
* Newly compressed file will be sent to the same folder as the original AVI (new suffix attached to file name to make the distintion between the two files)
<!-- -->
* once the newly compressed file appears on the hard drive,it will be automatically uploaded to the cloud based application on my desk top(this will be through dropbox or mediafire or yousend it). The file must be droped into the publice folder in dropbox for other to be able to see it.
<!-- -->
* The link from this file and the adobe project will be attached to an email (automatically) and dispatched by the system. the link from adobe will only be about 120kb and need to be attached directly from the hard drive.
<!-- -->
* The link from the compressed capture which has been uploaded to cloude based storage will need to be copyed and pasted from the link generated in the cloud based program.
<!-- -->
* Once this is all done the email with the various attachements should be sent automatically.
