Inside a wordpress blog I am using a cascading navigation, to get a selection of categories. You can see it online as a demo:

In this demo it is possible to select categories in a "tree" style. My wish is, that you keep your actual selection value in the next search.
eg. cat1 and cat11
In the moment the search is always reset to empty values. At the demo site you can also download the plugin. I already tried to contact the developer, but no response.
I need to have an estimated price in the beginning to do this changes.
