a speech for my best friends wedding

I am a bridesmaid at my best friends wedding. She is smart, funny, beautiful etc.. I want the audience to feel happy. We went to niagrafalls on the bus with my daughter. We took driving school together. We worked together for 15 years. This is what I have so far but I am horrible at this... Thank you all for being here to share this beautiful moment in Sarah and Mikes new journey. It has been wonderful watching how happy Sarah is since joining Mikes family. She is a great hands on stepmom to Mikes boys! She loves them and treats them as if they were hers own. That takes a very special kind of person to be able to do that. I have known Sarah a long time, not as long as others but we have created a strong bond. For all you Greys fans, Sarah is my person. It has been a rough year or so for Sarah and her family, with the passing of the most wonderful man... Sarah's dad. Then me moving to new Brunswick. The wedding planning has been a great distraction for her but also stressful. I wish I could take some credit in helping to plan this amazing event but I had nothing to do with it. I would like to extend a huge thank you to, Karen, Samantha and Shaye for all the hard work they put into making Sarah and Mikes day so special. I would also like to thank Sarah's mom, Sylvia for being so supportive even with all she has had to cope with. Now where to begin... I met Sarah at, what used to be Guardian Drugs. I was training her in the post office. There was this drawer that was really hard to close so when I was showing her, I hip checked it closed...right on her hand. OMG, I felt so bad! I don’t know how or why but we ended up being great friends despite her busted up hand. She has been there for me through everything, good and bad! She became a part of my family, like the sister I never had. Like all family's we have had differences over the years but mostly great times. Lots of laughs and some tears along the way. Even with our different ages and lifestyles we managed to make time for each other aside from work. Sarah is a really picky eater. I have had to force her to try new foods over the years, for the most part it has paid off and now she eats way more. Sometimes though there would be something she really hated and the faces she would make were priceless. We went to driving school together several years ago now.
