What you are looking for is a t-test (paired if we can match up people in the pre and post, or unpaired otherwise) I do this all the time when I am trying to validate results of some training. Hi Interesting idea. What we need to do is a Paired samples t-tests or Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to establish that the results are significantly different (pre and post the course) and are not just by chance. Hope this makes sense, otherwise you can hire me anyway to make this work for you.

Hi, I am working as Lead Pricing Analyst in a Fortune 500 MNC. I have worked on pricing models, income statements, value-pricing projects etc. Approach: I suggest we do Student's T-test to determine whether pre-test and post-test scores are same or statistically different.
