Automated Test Tool for Web-based data grid

We are developing a relatively complex web-based application and are looking for an automated test tool to help us speed up the test process. However, the web-based app uses .asp loaded data grids and other modules that make screen-scraping techniques of limited use. We already have a screen-scraping utility that allows us to automate much of the testing, but need to take it further. We are using a Data Grid utility from Intersoft Solutions intersoftpt dot com and automated manipulation of these grids is what we need to achieve. To be more specific, look at the version of data grid that is editable ([login to view URL]). We would like to be able to click on the row that says “Please click here to add new row…??, enter in data for each field and then add in the data. To complete the automation of the task, what we want to do is have a .csv or equivalent file that would be used to add / edit / delete data on these data grids, so that we can fully test the addition of new items, which will trigger any data validation error messages that we’ve put in. We will require someone to work with us through our development cycle so that as we make changes to the code and add new types of grids, that the test tool is updated as well. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows
