Hello Hiring Manager, I'm interested in your project and would appreciate the opportunity. I have 13+ years of transcription experience. I can transcribe the content, giving attention to details and in a timely manner. I needed, I will also eliminate sentences beginning with "and" "so" "but" "well", etc. Remove filler words, jargon such as "you know" "um" "oh" "well". Make sentences complete with start and end. Change run ins and excessive commas in one sentence to multiple sentences if necessary. Change "gonna" to going to, "wanna" to want to, etc... With a wealth of free time and incredibly rapid typing speed I can easily complete an hour or better in only a couple hours. This makes me an excellent choice for this project if you desire fast, quality results. Also, I have moved several times in the course of my life, both as a child and more recently, and so I have exposure to various local dialects and practice deciphering varying speeds of speech, which can only be a boon in this sort of task. ('Normal' speed in the Midwest is super fast for Texas but way slow for Chicago.) And in addition to that, I have several years experience in dealing with non-native English speakers as well, including the need to decipher meaning from an otherwise seemingly random jumble of words. As a final point, I can and will perform any necessary editing should sentences not read correctly, unless expressly asked not to do so. Hi! You haven't specified what format you want the closed captioning to be /srt or other/. I have a lot of experience with making subtitles for movies, and I suppose you want closed captions for a video so it would be helpful to know what format is the video too. I have good typing skills, and a very good command of English.
