step 1. Creation of small application to copy a access database from citric platform(Virtual desktop) to local drive. (Partly developed) maybe finished soon**
step 2. create a .net application visual net (preferably 2005) that connect to access database.
step 3. in the .net application generate a search Tab that looks for different criteria s in one of the table of the access database (approximately 8-10 criteria )
step 4.- the next tab to be create generate a Datagrid with the elements that match the criteria in step 3 (Search tab). In this step the datagrid should have the possibility to select different items by clicking on it and do another searching to other table (Like a submenu) maybe in the other half of the screen in another datagrid
step 5. with the element selected should generate a report adding some columns with a small calculation(sum and divide some data) with graphs that finally should allow to export o excel.
As you could see the application is really simple but presentation is important for this first report. links and searching should be easy to use, a possibility to copy from clipboard should be possible in some fields of the criteria searching.
The program will grow with more and more reports so this first part should be created very professionally and easy to use. Please people that doesn't have a high experience in visual basic .Net with SQL sentences do not quote due to could complicate a very simple application and also delay the project
