Looking at compiling a large set of statistical data into an excel spreadsheet.
I am trying to collect all of the player statistics for every nfl player from the 2006 to the 2009 seasons.
Here is an example of one player's entry in the database: [url removed, login to view]
I am looking to collect all available statistics (each one being a different column) while each player will be a different row.
Each player has an id associated with a page that begins with 1 and goes to over 13000. Not everyone of these players played in the '06 to '09 seasons, but if it is easier to write a program for all players, i can manually delete the extras.
