Design a series of 7 'Leave No Trace' icons

Hi The aim of this project is to design a series of 7 icons that each represent the 7 environmental Leave No Trace principles. [1) Plan Ahead and Prepare][1] [2) Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces][2] [3) Dispose of Waste Properly][3] [4) Leave What You Find][4] [5) Minimise Campfire Impacts][5] [6) Respect Wildlife][6] [7) Be Considerate of Your Hosts and Other Visitors][7] The icons will be used as navigation controls on each frame of a SVG presentation. Hopefully also be used in many other ways as well. You can see the presentation here [login to view URL] (view in firefox or chrome - not IE) Features I am looking for a) Clearly convey the meaning of each principle. b) elegant, 'simple', and memorable design c) Australian context eg if using a picture of an animal - avoid using a bear or tiger) d) Hiking context IE travel on durable surface will be about someone walking (not 4wd or riding a bike) e) A linear array of icons (principle 1 on the left and 7 on the right) Open to other ideas here - just what I have in my mind. Enjoy Matt :) ## Deliverables Key concepts/messages to consider for each specific icon/principle 1) thinking, planning, organise, prepare 2) leave no footsteps, stay on track, don't step on plants 3) carry out rubbish, rubbish in pack, 'pack it in pack it out' , bury toilet waste 4) do not touch engravings, treat the bush as a museum, do not touch the art 5) use fuel stove, if lighting a fire keep it small 6) do not feed/pat animals, let animal by wild, watch from a distance. 7) be friendly, look after signs/fences, keep groups size small, keep noise level down. Open to colour, shape ideas - no real set idea there.
