Digital Access Card
Below is the process of how the digital access card and website will work:
At a concert a music fan would recieve the "access card" that contains exclusive access to the song and other digital media of the new band he/she just heard. On the access card is an encrypted randomly generated key.
1. The fan now goes to the website (which is what you'll be developing) and enters the key. After the key has successfully been entered the customer would be directed to a page where there will be icons to 1) become a fan of the band on facebook or 2) become a follower of the band on twitter. Fan must either be a follower or a fan before they can access to ANY digital media.
2. After the fan is a follower or fan, there will be a checkbox list of the digital media that the fan can have access to. Depending on the access code, they are able to have access to one or more than one digital media. (music video, ringtone, interview, merchandise, etc)
After the fan has checked which media they would like to have access to, they will click continue and the download will begin. As the media is downloading the fan will see random fun facts about the artist "scroll" across the screen. (think NBA live for Xbox) once the download is complete the fan will have instant access. They can either choose to download the digital content to their computer or smartphone device, or play the media instantly form their computer or smartphone device..
After fan chooses how they would like to access media, fan will have the option to send to a friend via email or file share.
Before the friend can access the track (must be confirmed e-mail addresses), he/she must become a fan of band on facebook or a follower of the band on twitter.
