customise a Joomla template site and upload slide show and content to it

we are an educational English and Business English online learning platform using telephone and skype to deliver training in language and soft business skills. We have an existing Joomla Metro template that we would like to personalise for our work in the form of> add front page slide show and basic content > add relevant menus describing our courses and prices > give simple information ( About Us, Contact) > upload a free self assessment test so that clients can see their level; this will be multiple choice/best choice/best answer type questions. Finally - we will need to synchronise and customise a Lesson/teacher scheduling calendar (Acuity) so that we can a) allow teachers/clients to schedule and change lessons b) monitor from our UK base any problems with lessons that may occur. Links to a Facebook and Twitter page will be needed and Pay Pal (part of the registration page) will be needed. There may be a scenario for an ongoing (part time initially) IT support guy but this is to be discussed. Ideally the person will be in or near the UK time zone to avoid delay.
