Asterisk (small project)

I would like to install Asterisk (either AsteriskWIN32 or AsteriskNOW) on my PC. I attempted to install each of them over the last couple of days but I have failed to get it working. This is suppose to be a simple class project but it has been anything but that.
What I am looking for is;
- At least 5 internal phones with a 4 or 5 digit number (any number is OK)
- Must be able to use a softphone (x-lite, 3CX, etc)
- Must be able to make and receive outside calls via SIP
NOTE: I already registered with a SIP provider ([url removed, login to view]) and I obtained a DID number which I can provide upon our agreement or please provide me instructions on how to set it up.
- ACD solution with a main number that prompts basic options such as; 1 for sales, 2 for billing and 3 for technical support. Please provide instructions on how to record and post prompts.
NOTE: These options should be able to route the caller to a different SIP device per selection.
- Configure basic voicemail
I also installed VMware (VMworkstation) on my PC which allows me to run a Linux based OS on Windows XP. So, both AsteriskWIN32 and AsteriskNOW are both OK solutions. Please provide the best and easiest solution. Thank you in advance for your quick response.

AsteriskWIN32 has already been installed and basic conf files exist. AsteriskNOW has been installed on a VMworkstaton. X-lite 4 phones have been installed and test OK (internal calls only). I can configure the x-lite phone to my SIP (non-asterisk) and make outside (PSTN) calls.
The voicemail and ACD solution has not been configured beyond the basic install files.
Project cost = $30 to $150.
