Detailed Knowledge of the Inventor API required - including having its documentation.
Build interface that allows user to input variables, make choices and the output is directed to a default assembly that gets updated with the variables / choices and is opened.
The 3D model exists and will be provided.

This project is a larger sized project and can be difficult for you to estimate accurately. If you are the winning bidder, I want you to finish it. **Here is the full scope
**Develop an Add-in using the Inventor API generally as per the attached spec. Input windows will transfer data to the appropriate parts and assemblies (which currently update via excel). The excel is to be made redundant and embedded in the parts & assemblies. Only one version of the model will have an interface developed to prove the concept. Allowance is made in the menu hierarchy for several others.
The 3D model will be provided for development of the add-in and to test the interface.
If any more information is required for the detailed coding, we will provide it as required. We expect that you are familiar with the Inventor API.
The finished project shall be returned complete to allow edits and modifications to code. Instructions on deployment or exe's to be supplied as part of scope. *A demo of an Inventor addin is required to confirm that you can do the job. E.g. menu item that changes a dimension and builds the test part.*
The preferred language is VB NET unless there are reasons to use another. Preferred development tool is MS Visual Studio.
The application should run on Win 7 x64 & 32bit and XP platforms.
The options in the attached spec. about mating the new assembly in to the parent assembly may be omitted - you should state this if it is to be omitted.
