Need to have affiliates be able to curate collections from our product catalog – ie ecommerce shopping cart and “pin” them to a collection of sorts in [url removed, login to view] then be able to share them via social media or marketing as well as embed them on their own websites. So there are 3 parts
1. User Dashboard Configuration
Assigning wordpress users as affiliates and setting up spot they can register to become affiliates – built into program. Need to look at payment side too and then make UX friendly
2. Tracking – make sure it works
Also built it but ensure that tracking links end up on Springpad notebooks so as they are shared we get the data back – ithinx (creator of program) tells me this is via sharethis plugin (also installed)
3. Springpad API part
Want to make it as least cumbersome as possible. Their api team will help but my guess is that we hook into a master account over there and then have sub pages per affiliate without having them re-register – so we pass on email address via Oauth
