directory of a specific community members

Website design, development, deploy, initial support.

Objective:

1) Create an online directory of specific community members and its community’s local associations for sharing information about the community and its events, share knowledge on local region/locations , that will help the community members on Job relocation, travel, etc and to help each other (business/professionally, etc)

Brief High level requirements: (my brain dump, not restricted to below points)

1) Facility for users to signup, create/update their profiles, control display of data for public viewing

2) Online Discussion board/Chat facility

3) Submit specific help requests to the community, receive response, etc (outside scope of discussion board)

4) Various search options to retrieve data

5) Alert pages

6) Syndication facilities

7) Facility to scan filled application and update the database from offline members

8)Create temporary pages to post information on specific community events

9)Any annual fee if charged, facility to process the same and information made available in user records

10) Other standard pages (about us, contact us, FAQ, etc)

11) Secure, scalable and easy to maintain, open standards

12) Common photo gallery controlled by web master

13) SMS (optional)/mail notification facilities

14) Facility to generate mailing lists

15) Solution to be compatible to host on hosting providers (example. [url removed, login to view])

16) Facility to place sponsors links/ads

17) Contents provided/developed should abide to copyrights, laws and legal aspects.

18) Admin reports, etc

some stress tests to be done.

Any value added features/suggestions are welcome within scope of objective. The look and feel of the site should be very professional.

Bidder to provide complete terms and conditions, should be transarent in all aspects. Request professionals to bid who posses the required skills in-house.
