Hi, I am pleased to introduce myself as a senior accountant with many years of experience. I was managing accounts and finance of a multi industry group with turnover more than $150 million. My prime responsibilities were day to day transactions audit, general ledger scrutiny, monthly financials, managing lines of credit and in some cases attending income tax assessment hearings. This project requires the freelancer to perform thorough audit your financials look for strange transactions, go to the roots and unearth mistakes if any. Also the freelancer has to ensure that AR/AP/Bank are reconciled. Should also ensure there are break ups for all liabilities including all control accounts. To be specific most of the accountants are good and can ensure all reconciliations are done. But to smell mistakes it requires special skills. It comes by practise and experience.
