Payroll Manager Needed

The Payroll Manager is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle payroll for US and Canada processing while ensuring compliance with all Federal, State and other regulatory obligations. Review, calculate and process payroll changes and adjustments. Prepare and execute state and federal payroll taxes. Calculate and process all elected and mandatory payroll deductions including taxes, garnishments, child support orders and insurance. Handle payroll escalation. Mentor less experienced peers but does not supervise others. Core duties/responsibilities: Prepare and process weekly and biweekly payroll for all exempt and non-exempt employees, and off-cycle requests for US and Canada. Prepare and execute multi-state taxation activities related to payroll, including federal, state and local tax. Identify, research and resolve payroll discrepancies within strict time constraints through independent analysis and evaluation, taking corrective action to avoid pay issue Support workflows to ensure all payroll transactions are recorded and processed accurately in a timely manner. Prepare periodic reports for Accounting, HR and other management colleagues.
