Android VPN App Developer Needed

Hi This is an ongoing long term job, the perfect candidate will have decent experience in Android application development and is flexible, motivated and a problem solver. Developers who have previous experience with VPN apps are preferred "Stating that you did work on this or that VPN app without proof will not be considered in the application process". The perfect candidate will have good attention to detail, clean and well documented code and creates efficient and light-weight applications. It is VERY important that the candidate can stick to deadlines and properly assess how long tasks are going to take "within reason" The job will start with a review of a code base that was created for this exact same job by a previous team of developers to assess the existing code base + next steps. The candidate will work with a team of project managers, QA, developers using software such as Jira, Slack and as otherwise required. Daily morning meetings are a requirement, and ongoing work status will be judged based on performance. For more information on what is needed technically see the below please : Responsibilities * Work with Backend Engineers to build and ship features * Identifying and fixing bugs and critical issues * Participate in code reviews and feedback sessions to maximize growth opportunities * Prepare documentation for outlining logic, code, and implementation of application Requirements * Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin * Familiarity with RESTful APIs connecting applications to back-end services * Solid understanding of networking * Experience with In-App Billing integration * Experience with performance tuning * Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements * Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications * Understanding of Apple design principles and interface guidelines * Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git ONLY Independent freelancers, no agencies please !
