TASKS TO BE DONE 1. Using New Design: A completely new design will be used for the application. The design will be modern and easy to use as much as it is possible. The main features of the design are listed below: • Splash Screen on Startup. • Easy navigation between pages • Modern, simple and easy to use design • Demo: [login to view URL] • Design is available as PSD and HTML. 2. Optimization: Design files (images, codes, etc.) will be embedded in the application. In this way the user will be able to open the application even if he does not have internet connection. 3. Sizing Posts: When a user sends a post (image), the system will automatically crop or resize it. Maximum limit for file size of images will be 1 MB. Sent images will be submitted to the users after they are resized. 4. Additional Features: The features to be developed for the application will be integrated to the application. These additional features are; • Search: User, place and hashtag search • Sending Post: The users will be able to send the pictures they take by mobile phone camera or they select from the gallery as posts. They will be able to add comments to such pictures. The users will be able to add #hashtag when they are sending posts. Same as Instagram. • Notification System: If a user shares a post about a #hashtag followed by other users, such users will be notified about this post. e.g. If Carol is following #Exercise hashtag and Mike shares a post by saying #I like to exercise then this post will be sent to Carol and other users following #Exercise hastag as a notification. • Listing Posts: All posts will be listed on the main page. The posts will be loaded as a user scrolls down. • Listing Users: All users will be listed on the users page. The users will be loaded as a user scrolls down. • Hashtag Page: There will be pages for the hastags created by the users. The users will be able to follow these hastags. Posts made with this hastag will be listed on these hastag pages. Same as a Facebook page. There will be To Be Followed, Profile and Cover Photo, Explanation, Followers sections. Note: All Web Services, Admin Panel and Rest API have been coded and only 5 additional features will be added to the application, and a new design will be used.
