Health is wealth. I’m sure you will agree with me that there is wisdom in this saying. Having good health is very important. If one is sound in body and mind, it is easy to do the things that are part of one’s daily life. It’s just sad that many people underestimate the significance of being in a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. One of the things that I never neglect is taking good care of my physical and mental health.
I want to be healthy because I want to be free from any disease - hypertension, diabetes, heart and respiratory diseases and other types of physical ailments. I want my joints to be healthy, my bones to be strong and vision to be good. If I am able to keep fit and stay healthy, all the above mentioned diseases can be prevented and I will enjoy life more. Saving money is also one of the benefits of being healthy, as well as the ability to reach my goals in life. Good health can make me climb a mountain, run a marathon or get a promotion at work.
Here are some of the tips on staying healthy that I would like to share with you and I certainly hope that it will guide you to good health:
1. Eat the right and healthy foods. Get as many vegetables, fruits and grains as possible into your diet. Include poultry, fish, beans and tofu. They will help you maintain your health, make you feel good and have energy.
