Editor Required for Ongoing Project

Our team is in need of an excellent editor for our ongoing projects. The project includes editing long and short articles, quizzes, press releases etc. This is not just proofreading. The editor will be expected to edit copy and do rewriting as well, as and when required. The editor will also be expected to offer story suggestions and must have experience with WordPress and Google Docs, as the editor will be required to upload the articles. The candidate should also be comfortable in finding and editing images (when the images provided by the writers are not good.) When required, the editor will be expected to fill in for writing assignments. Must be comfortable editing all types of copy (there is nothing inappropriate). A Copyscape account will be required to check writer’s work for plagiarism. Pay is $.50 per 500 words. This is an ongoing position. Our previous editor has worked with us for over 6 years. The workload is variable from 7000 words per day to as many as 10,000 or more.
