The error clearly says timeout. Does it timeout out after 2000 seconds? If so we need to see what query is holding up the processing and try to fine tune it. It could not be based on number of users, it has to only do with a specific query or set of queries that are loading the server.

Hi I can think of ways to resolve the issue and try them out as I have faced such problems earlier in my career. The following approaches might help. 1)Manually execute the query in the system and try to check if it's the query execution time that's causing the error or not in the lower environment with dummy data. 2) If the query execution time is more than 30 seconds and that is causing the issue the Optimizing the query is the solution. (Time out errors are usually caused because of the joins or the distinct or the filters that we apply on them) 3) If the execution time is less than 2 seconds and still there is a time out error. Tracing the log and finding the snippet of the exception caused might help. Sometime if the certificates are used to connect with the SQL server that can also coz the timeout issue if the certificate gets expired.
