Podcast audio engineer

Hello Freelancers! We are an American based podcast and currently seeking an audio engineer for weekly work our podcast. NOTE: The first edit would need to be completed TODAY so that we can listen and make sure no additional adjustments need to be made. If this is not possible, please do NOT respond to this project. The timeline moving forward would be as stated below. We record (separate) tracks in Audacity while on a phone call with one another. What we need are as follows: • combine two audio files into one (again, we record each episode from two different locations. Therefore, we have two different mp3/wav files) • volume adjustments on each track (very important. We want to make sure that we continue sounding as though we are in the same room, so the volumes would need to be adjusted so that it's consistent throughout the entire podcast) • music addition. We provide you the track and typically have a "soft" sound playing in the background as we're talking. We can provide you with an audio file of our latest podcast so that you can get an idea of what we're looking for. Also, we operate on a timeline. We typically record on Fridays. The ideal candidate would be able to provide us with a FULL edit by no later than Tuesday so that we have the opportunity to listen and make sure there are no additional edits required. If there are, we advise you of what needs to be "fixed" and would have to have the FINAL fix by that Thursday so that we can post to our audience first thing Friday morning. We are looking for someone who is reliable and can work within these guidelines. If this is not you, please do not apply.
